Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification within first 3 months of employment.
• Meets NYS licensure requirements including Infection Control and elder abuse reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates total patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the Nursing Process.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and supports the activities of clinical personnel on the Sub-Acute/Skilled Nursing Unit.
• Directly cares for patients and collaborates with other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Provides direction to non-licensed personnel within the department.
