We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Stylist in Training / Apprentice Stylists. This is a temporary 90-day position designed to integrate unlicensed future stylists into the salon environment and help them learn the business. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service and effective communication with management, customers, and co-workers.

Job Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business
• Observe experienced stylists and managers, ask relevant questions
• Provide excellent customer service
• Control expenses and promote services and retail products
• Answer phones, stock shelves, and maintain salon cleanliness
• Complete other duties as assigned by the manager

The Stylist in Training may be eligible for promotion to a licensed stylist upon obtaining the necessary license and demonstrating proficiency in required skills and adherence to Regis values.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within 90 days of hire

Essential Functions

Market and Grow the Business: Promote and sell services and products, recommend additional services, and manage promotional displays.

Customer Service: Greet clients, estimate wait times, answer calls professionally, and handle complaints appropriately.

Expense Management: Follow schedules, correctly charge for services, and safeguard assets.

Administrative Tasks & Compliance: Perform tasks like answering phones, stocking, maintaining safety standards, and POS transactions.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Frequent lifting, standing, reaching; occasional pushing/pulling and ladder use
• Exposure to chemicals and fragrances
• Communication with clients regarding services
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Occasional travel for training and meetings

If hired, you will be employed directly by a franchisee of Regis, with employment terms set by the franchisee.
