What You'll Do

• You will learn how to grow the business and control expenses by observing other stylists and managers.
• Greeting customers and answering the phone with a smile—your logo.
• Maintaining cleanliness and following safety standards in the salon.

Upon receiving your license, you may be eligible for a promotion to stylist. This is not automatic; you must apply and earn it.

Promotion Criteria

To be considered, you must: 1) possess a valid license in your state; 2) perform duties permitted by your license, including cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, washing, and perming; 3) demonstrate Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within 90 days of hire.
• Good judgment, time management, and desire to work in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Tech-savvy to use point-of-sale systems and data entry.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable lifting up to 10 lbs., occasionally 10-25 lbs.
• Stand for most of the day.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Availability for mandatory meetings and training, including overnight travel.
