Upon receiving your license, you may be eligible for promotion to a stylist position. Promotion is not automatic; you must earn it by applying and meeting the requirements.

HOW TO GET PROMOTED TO A STYLIST

To qualify, you must: 1) possess a valid license in your state; 2) perform duties allowed by your license, including cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, washing, and perming; and 3) demonstrate Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within or before 90 days of hire.
• Have good judgment, time management, and a desire to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Be tech-savvy to use point-of-sale systems and enter data.
• Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift up to 10 lbs. regularly; occasionally lift 10-25 lbs. during shipments.
• Be on your feet most of the day.
• Read, write, and perform basic math.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training, including overnight travel if needed.
