STYLIST IN TRAINING

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards in the salon.

Potential for promotion to a stylist position upon obtaining your license. Promotion is not automatic; you must earn it by applying for the stylist position with Supercuts.

HOW TO GET PROMOTED TO A STYLIST

To be considered, you must: 1) possess a valid license in your state; 2) demonstrate the ability to perform licensed services such as cutting, styling, coloring, waxing, and perming; 3) practice Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license(s) within or before 90 days of hire.
• Good judgment, time management, and desire to work in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Tech-savvy to operate point-of-sale systems and enter data.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Comfortable lifting up to 10 lbs., occasionally 10-25 lbs. for unloading shipments.
• Ability to stand most of the day.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Availability for mandatory meetings and training, including overnight travel if necessary.
