What You'll Do

• You will learn how to grow the business and control expenses by observing other stylists and managers.
• Greeting customers and answering the phone, with your smile as your logo.
• Keep the salon clean and follow safety standards, even if not glamorous work.

As a stylist-in-training, you may be eligible for a promotion to the stylist position once you receive your license. Promotion is not automatic; you must earn it. You will need to apply for the stylist position with Supercuts to be considered for promotion.

Promotion Criteria

To be considered for promotion, you must:

1. Possess a valid license in your applicable state.
2. Be able to perform duties allowed by your license, including cutting, styling, coloring, wax treatments, and washing/perming hair, with or without accommodations.
3. Demonstrate practice of Regis values: honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain necessary licenses within or before 90 days of hire.
• Good judgment and time management skills; desire to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Tech-savvy to use point-of-sale systems and data entry.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and 10-25 lbs. occasionally.
• Stand for most of the day.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Availability for mandatory meetings and training, including overnight travel.
