Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant in California to help guests discover the joy of everyday life through strong operations and inspiring in-store presentation.

You will greet guests, maintain a full floor with correct pricing and sizes, support checkout and fitting rooms, and contribute to a fast-paced team environment with flexible hours.

This position offers on-site work with comprehensive training and opportunities to develop retail and guest service skills.

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.

• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by following visual standards.
• Use store tools to understand sales and inventory and assist guests.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the floor, and locate merchandise.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience.
• Maintain product availability with priority fills and full floor coverage.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise as items sell through to inspire shoppers.
• Support price changes via clearance merchandising and signing.
• Maintain fitting rooms as welcoming spaces for guests.
• Assist fulfillment and guests by moving merchandise between fitting rooms and floor.
• Demonstrate safety and compliance at all times.
• Work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services like back-up cashier and pickup options while obeying laws.
• Greet guests and engage to solve needs.
• Thank guests and ensure they chose Target for shopping.
• All other duties as needed.
