Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant to join our team in a fast-paced, guest-focused retail environment. You will help guests discover the joy of everyday life through fashion, provide excellent service, and support on-floor merchandising and stock replenishment.

The role emphasizes a welcoming guest experience, teamwork, flexibility with shifts, and adherence to safety and store standards. Training will cover product knowledge, visual standards, and guest interactions to ensure a memorable

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest ready floor with visual standards, signage, and stocked, appropriately priced merchandise.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor through priority fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Remerchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for our guest.
• Support price change processes with signing execution.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving merchandise from fitting room to salesfloor.
• Comply with safety policies and maintain a culture of ethics.
