Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a CQV STW Maintenance Technician for a 12-month, onsite contract in Holly Springs, NC. This role supports bringing critical systems online and preparing them for commissioning in a large-scale biopharmaceutical environment.

You will execute startup tasks, perform system walkdowns, fix mechanical issues, and coordinate with engineers to ensure readiness and safety. Training for scissor lifts is provided if needed and OSHA basics are valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on industrial or mechanical experience in a regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform system walkdowns independently.
• Experience working with energized systems, tools, and basic mechanical repairs.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices; OSHA or similar certifications are a plus.
• Comfortable performing physical work and operating equipment such as scissor lifts (training provided if needed).

The CQV STW Maintenance Technician will play a key role in bringing critical systems online and preparing them for commissioning and qualification within a large-scale production environment.

Responsibilities for the CQV STW Maintenance Technician:

Compensation for the CQV STW Maintenance Technician:

• Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000/year (USD)
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
