Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ is seeking a motivated intern for the Future Talent Program in Study Management within Clinical Sciences.

This 12-week internship will support trial planning, execution, and close-out, with opportunities to collaborate across teams and gain exposure to the drug discovery process. The role targets students pursuing BS/BA/MS/PhD in life sciences or health care administration, and requires Microsoft Office proficiency, analytical skills, and potential project

Qualifications

Education: Full-time student pursuing a BS/BA, MS or PhD in Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Research or Health Care Administration, Public Health, Biology or related field.
Microsoft Office skills and ability to analyze trends, design and present reports.
Project management experience a plus (e.g., delivering projects by dates).

Responsibilities

Assist clinical trials teams with planning, execution and/or close-out of trials.
Attend team meetings and complete virtual trainings on trial planning and execution.
Track trial timelines and interact with study sites, vendors and committees as needed.
