Position Overview

WFOX TV Jacksonville offers an entry-level, part-time Studio Technician position. The role involves working during news broadcasts across TV and Digital platforms. Flexibility is required to work overnights, early mornings, late nights, holidays, and weekends. Ideal candidates have an eye for editing, an ear for audio, or writing skills for news production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate the prompter for live and recorded programming
2. Manage the studio floor for live and recorded programming
3. Contribute to all platforms as needed
4. Perform miscellaneous duties, including maintenance and preparation

Minimum Qualifications

1. Degree or working toward a degree in electronic media
2. One year of experience in broadcast, film, or editing
3. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move bulky set pieces, and climb ladders as needed
