Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Studio Technician in Washington, DC to support NewsNation studios and control rooms. You will handle live broadcasts and prerecords, set up equipment, and assist talent and staff to ensure high-quality content.
The role requires a High School Diploma and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays; experience in TV/film is preferred. Comprehensive full-time benefits apply.
The Studio Technician is responsible for supporting the technical operation of Newsnation studios and control rooms in a live broadcast facility. This role ensures all studio equipment and broadcast workflows operate efficiently and reliably before, during, and after live and recorded productions. The technician provides hands‑on support for studio productions including live broadcasts, prerecords, and special events while maintaining technical quality standards and assisting talent, production staff, and engineering teams in delivering high-quality content.
Compensation Range: $35–$40/hourly based upon experience.
