Job summary

Little seeks a Studio Principal to lead the Healthcare Studio in Newport Beach, guiding architects, planners and designers to strengthen client relationships and grow the regional portfolio from clinics to acute care.

You will work with top firm leadership to shape long-term strategy, manage a team, and drive client outcomes with collaborative leadership and creative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect licensure or equivalent credential.
• 10+ years in healthcare architecture and design.
• Deep healthcare experience in Southern California (HCAI).
• Experience as an account/client manager with financial oversight.
• Proven track record of leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Healthcare Studio in Newport Beach as Studio Principal and member of the Corporate Leadership team.
• Direct engagement with clients and goal alignment from the start.
• Collaborate with Office President and Healthcare Practice Leader to plan long-term growth.
• Oversee existing projects with a team of architects on clinical projects.
• Provide autonomy and leadership for your studio within the firm.

A position you’ll love:

• You’ll be a leader in our Newport Beach office, leading the Healthcare Studio as the Studio Principal and part of our firm wide Corporate Leadership team.
• You’ll be directly involved with our clients and their goals from the start.
• You’ll work with the Office President, and our Healthcare Practice Leader to create a long-term strategic plan to grow the Studio and client mix.
• You’ll assume leadership of our existing body of work with strong clients, and a team of talented architects working on clinical projects.
• You’ll have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for your Studio.
• You’ll have the backing of a large, expanded services firm with great in-house resources.

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:

• Registered Architect.
• 10+ years of experience in the healthcare architecture & design industry.
• Deep healthcare experience (HCAI) in the Southern California area.
• Experience as an account or client manager, including financial management.
• You have managed a team of people.

***Anticipated salary range for this position: $150,000- $195,000; based on experience level.***
