Job summary

Signature Images – East Valley, AZ is seeking a dependable, energetic photographer for part-time studio work and school picture days across Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe and surrounding areas. You’ll capture senior portraits, sports and school photographs, with a focus on creating great experiences for students, families, and school partners.

Role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive local team environment.

Qualifications

• Photography experience preferred (portrait, school, sports, or event)
• Comfortable working with children and large groups
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to local schools and fields
• Able to lift and move photography equipment (up to 40 lbs)
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working outdoors when needed
• Organized, punctual, and dependable
• Must pass background check for school environments

Responsibilities

• Photograph senior students in our studio and at school picture days
• Set up and break down lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment efficiently
• Maintain consistent image quality, framing, and exposure standards
• Positively interact with students, teachers, and administrators
• Keep picture day running smoothly and on schedule
• Handle basic troubleshooting of equipment on-site
• Represent Signature Images professionally at all locations
• Follow established workflows for file handling and data accuracy

We provide training, systems, and support — you don’t need to be a studio pro if you’re motivated and coachable.

Schedule

• Studio Photography - 10am - 8pm
• School Photography - Primarily weekday mornings and early afternoons
• Some seasonal weekend sports events
• Peak seasons: Fall and Spring school cycles
• Flexible scheduling based on availability
