Job summary

Inter‑State Studio & Publishing Co. is seeking a seasonal on-site photographer to set up equipment, pose and photograph students and staff at schools with flexible scheduling aligned to the school calendar.

The role requires early mornings, typically 8–10 hour days, with 8–40 hours per week. Mileage and drive time are paid, with bonus opportunities and paid training starting 7/20, at an hourly rate of $16.00.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation capable of carrying photography equipment and driving up to two hours one-way.
• Background check will include a Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Set up provided equipment and photograph students and staff on-site.
• Work early mornings with flexible scheduling during school calendar.
• Travel between school locations with mileage reimbursement and drive time.

Position Overview

As an Inter‑State Studio Photographer, you will set up provided equipment, pose, and photograph students and staff on‑site at schools. This role blends your technical photography skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment. If you have an eye for detail and can make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, we want to hear from you!

This seasonal position is ideal for those who enjoy working with children and need a flexible schedule. Workdays vary based on school schedules, requiring early mornings and generally lasting 8‑10 hours, with a weekly range of 8‑40 hours. We offer flexibility in scheduling when days off are needed and accommodate time‑off requests. With our schedule aligning with the school calendar, you’ll have time off during summer and winter breaks.

We pay mileage and drive time, with bonus opportunities, and pay an hourly rate of $16.00.

Paid training starts 7/20.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation with capacity to fit photography equipment and ability to drive one‑way up to two hours, with insurance coverage.
• Background check will include a Motor Vehicle Report.
