Job summary

Marks, part of the Propelis Group, is seeking a Mgr – Studio in Grand Rapids to manage studio resources, schedules, budgets, and staff across content production for client deliverables.

The hybrid role requires 6+ years of agency content production experience, strong Adobe Creative Suite and PM skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in photography, management, communication, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years agency content production experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally, or internationally.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office; strong presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and budgeting/PM skills.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile content production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns projects within a location and drives continuous improvement.
• Manages client relationships and ensures adherence to terms and budgets.
• Ensures high-quality client deliverables.
• Develops workflow tools to improve quality, profitability, and efficiency.
• Manages vendor and talent relationships and agreements.
• Allocates resources to projects based on capacity and needs.
• Oversees creative/production teams to meet scope, budget, and timelines.
• Forges partnerships with other teams to ensure smooth asset delivery.
• Supports account management with transparent client communication.
• Monitors workload and ensures on-time delivery; adjusts as needed.
• Tracks KPIs and manages departmental budgets.
