Job summary

The Golden State Warriors are seeking an Assistant to support Warriors Studio's media management and technical operations in San Francisco. You will learn the media workflow and collaborate with editors and producers to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.

This part-time role requires a Bachelor's in video/film or equivalent, at least 1 year in media management, and strong organization. You’ll work non-traditional hours as needed and support editing, shooting, and production across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in video/film production.
• Minimum 1 year of media management experience in a production facility.
• Experience cataloging media assets in large-scale databases.
• Proficiency organizing video files across local and remote servers and storage networks.
• Familiarity with video fundamentals, audio, lighting, color correction, codecs and asset lifecycles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy across records.
• Ability to handle multiple workflows and adjust priorities as needed.
• Excellent collaboration with editors, producers, and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Warriors Studio media management workflow using storage and database tools.
• Help manage archival system using on-prem storage, LTO, and cloud.
• Process requests for highlights and partner activations.
• Troubleshoot media management issues with producers and editors.
• Provide first line of defense for Adobe Creative Suite.
• Maintain operational status of edit and ingest stations.
• Assist in logging, cataloging, and inputting metadata.
• Handle internal and external photo, video, and audio requests.
• Ensure deadlines and codec standards are met.
• Provide overall support for editing, shooting and production.
• Other duties as assigned.
