Job summary

California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a Student Assistant to support media production courses, with potential evening hours. You will help students with their projects and assist in preparing the studio and control room for class usage.

Under supervision, you will organize documentation, manage equipment check-in/out, and support faculty during productions. Campus employment requires CSU student status and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a CSU student in good standing, enrolled at CSUSB.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow oral instructions.
• Ability to read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.

Responsibilities

• Organize and track records of all documentation submitted and processed by the Office.
• Prepare video control room and studio for class usage.
• Check video production equipment in/out to qualified students.
• Provide assistance to students with their projects.
• Evening work periods may be required with advance notice.
• Assist instructor/staff with equipment training and tutorials.
• Open/Close Media Lab, Studio and Editing Bays.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Department Chair.
