Job summary

Pressed Roots, the first silk blow-out bar for textured hair, seeks a Studio Manager to lead a fast-paced team, deliver outstanding client experiences, and drive top-tier operations. You’ll guide day-to-day people development, customer service, and business growth in a luxury, service-driven setting.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years of management experience, a track record of building high-performing teams, and a passion for empowering staff. Cosmetic background is a plus; not required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of management experience in a fast-paced service industry.
• Proven ability to lead teams of 15+ employees with high engagement.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding and training staff.
• Strong scheduling, payroll, and inventory control skills.
• Track record of driving sales and improving customer experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Salon experience and cosmetology license are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide, and inspire staff daily to maintain a high-performing workplace.
• Uphold Pressed Roots core values and service standards.
• Develop future leaders through coaching and mentorship.
• Provide feedback to ensure team meets performance expectations.
• Foster client relationships and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Monitor revenue, costs, and operational efficiency for profitability.
• Analyze P&L and apply data-driven decisions to growth.
• Resolve employee relations and customer concerns per policy.
• Oversee marketing, HR, and daily studio operations.
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processes.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering levels.
• Support additional operational tasks as needed.
