Overview
Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, a STUDIO Fitting Specialist at PGA TOUR Superstore is responsible for engaging with every customer to provide world‑class service, building lasting relationships, and achieving sales KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with every customer and offer world‑class service using PGATSS Service behaviors.
- Build lasting relationships that keep customers returning.
- Achieve KPIs including sales targets, sales per hour, and booking percentages.
- Proactively grow clientele and maintain a fully booked schedule.
- Maintain knowledge of front‑end operations (returns, exchanges, gift cards, etc.).
- Keep the STUDIO area (Simulators, Components Drawer, Putting Green) clean, organized and visually appealing.
- Operate STUDIO equipment and supplies, ensuring they are maintained and operational.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of golf clubs and explain features, benefits, and differences.
- Enter custom club orders accurately.
- Execute proper customer fittings using PGA TOUR Superstore trained techniques.
- Assist customers with fitting, selecting shafts, grips, and specifications using technology such as Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, USchedule, and Microsoft Office.
- Stay up‑to‑date on merchandising promotions and marketing events; promote products and services to customers.
- Provide consistent feedback to Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance across all departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills; good verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of club fitting and golf equipment sales experience (preferred).
- Experience with Trackman, SAM Putt Lab, and club building (highly preferred).
- Ability to learn business acumen quickly with appropriate training.
- Strong self‑accountability and proactive drive for results.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30lb box overhead.
Schedule
Must maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
