Compensation: $22.00 - $25.25 USD per hour

Position Summary

The STUDIO Fitting Specialist reports to the Sales and Service Manager and is responsible for engaging every customer to provide world‑class service, building lasting relationships that encourage repeat business. Key duties include achieving KPIs—sales targets, sales per hour, and booking percentages—while proactively expanding the client base and maintaining a fully booked schedule. The role also involves front‑end operations, ensuring the STUDIO area is visually appealing and operational, and providing expert knowledge on products and services. Executing club fittings, staying updated on promotions, and providing consistent feedback to improve the customer experience are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with every customer and offer world‑class service by leveraging PGATSS Service behaviors.
• Build lasting relationships that keep customers returning.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and optimal sales per hour, and maintain a high booking percentage.
• Proactively grow the business by attracting new clients, fostering long‑term relationships, and keeping the schedule fully booked.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all front‑end operations (returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, coupons, etc.).
• Assist in keeping the STUDIO area (Simulators, Components Drawer, & Putting Green) at a premier visual level.
• Maintain and operate all STUDIO area equipment and supplies, ensuring clean, professional presentation at all times.
• Maintain in‑depth product knowledge of various golf clubs and explain their features, benefits, and differences.
• Accurately enter custom club orders with precise specifications.
• Perform proper customer fittings using PGA TOUR Superstore trained techniques and technology (Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, USchedule, Microsoft Office).
• Stay up to date on upcoming merchandising promotions and marketing events, and promote offerings to customers.
• Provide consistent feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of club fitting and golf equipment sales experience preferred.
• Experience with Trackman, SAM Putt Lab, and club building highly preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Stand for extended periods, climb ladders, move throughout the store, and lift a 30lb. box overhead.

Schedule

Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Ability to learn business fundamentals quickly with appropriate training.
