Job summary

Riser Fitness, LLC is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead studio operations, drive membership and retail sales, and coordinate with the General Manager. You will coach Sales Associates, manage lead generation, and ensure top-notch customer service in a fast-paced fitness environment.

The role emphasizes revenue growth, team leadership, and process improvement while maintaining studio standards and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English with excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the phone, and via email.
• Highly organized with data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with computers and studio software.
• Affinity and passion for fitness.
• Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in transactions.

Responsibilities

• Execute lead generation via grassroots marketing and networking.
• Implement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classes.
• Drive and increase membership and retail sales through customer service.
• Resolve staffing/scheduling issues with instructors and other personnel.
• Ensure studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts.
• Train and support Sales Associates.
• Make high level customer service decisions independently.
• Collect outstanding dues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio.
• Enforce Club Pilates policies and lead by example.
• Ensure all forms, supplies, and studio literature are stocked and visible.
• Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
• Assist with marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio.
• Adhere to all company policies, including at-will employment.

Riser Fitness, established in 2013, is a multi-unit operator and developer of the Club Pilates franchise system. Riser Fitness is one of the largest and longest operating franchisees.

POSITION:

Position Title: Assistant General Manager
Reports to: General Manager (occasionally District Manager)
Position Type: Full Time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in transactions.
• Ability to assist in driving revenue streams: memberships & retail sales, private training bookings, and teacher training enrollments.
• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
• Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
• Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
• An affinity and passion for fitness.
• Solid writing and grammar skills.
