Job summary

The Edge Fitness Clubs LLC is seeking an energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead classes at our Warren, MI clubs. You will deliver safe, engaging workouts and motivate members to participate, ensuring a constructive and fun atmosphere.

Responsibilities include teaching at least two classes weekly, maintaining safety standards, and promoting our fitness community. Must hold current CPR/AED and relevant certifications; prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience teaching Group Fitness classes
• Current CPR/AED certification required
• Nationally accredited group fitness certification or CPT preferred
• Certifications in specific formats (Les Mills, Spinning, Zumba, Yoga, Pilates, Barre) preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality member experiences through safe, effective and motivational classes.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and form, adjusting intensity for members as needed.
• Increase attendance through knowledge, skill and emotional connection.
• Teach at least two classes per week.
• Create community through positive interactions before and after class.
• Address member concerns or direct to club management when needed.
• Report equipment maintenance needs to club management.
• Drive excitement for classes and recruit members to join.
