Job summary

CorePower Yoga is seeking a Studio Coordinator to support the world‑class studio experience. You will coordinate studio operations, maintain health and safety standards, and work with the Studio Manager to drive member growth and community engagement.

The role requires a flexible 18–29 hour weekly schedule and a proactive approach to customer service. You will ensure smooth front desk operations, manage inventory and trainer support, and help train new Team members in cleanliness and system use.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service is required.
  • Completion of Yoga Alliance certified 200-hour program is preferred.
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
  • Familiar with studio systems (HRIS, intranet, POS, payroll, scheduling).
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as ambassador of CorePower Yoga core values at all times.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving membership growth, retail sales, and programming enrollment.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule of 18–29 hours per week in studio.
  • Be the point of contact when the Studio Manager is not present (up to 20 hours per week).
  • Maintain studio supply inventory and front desk operations.
  • Engage with the studio community and greet students by name.
  • Support teaching schedules and assist with POS and pre/post‑class duties.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Assist with interviewing and scheduling Studio Experience Team (SET) applicants and training.

Role Summary

As a Studio Coordinator (SC), you live your power by supporting the world‑class CorePower Yoga studio experience, coordinating studio operations, and holding the studio to the highest health and safety standards. In alignment with our core values, you work alongside the Studio Manager to deliver results and sustained growth toward all current company and studio‑level goals. In the SC role, you will learn the business and develop the skill set to operate a studio.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience
  • Act as an ambassador of the CorePower Yoga Core Values at all times and consistently inspire these values in others.
  • Support the Studio Manager in achieving company and studio‑level goals, including membership growth, retail sales, community outreach, teacher and SET recruitment, and programming enrollment.
  • Commit to a flexible schedule of 18‑29hours per week in studio in support of operations coordination and teaching (if certified). Include health and safety protocol execution, front desk guidance, and team support.
  • Must be flexible with schedule availability within the hourly commitment in service of the studio and team.
  • Responsibly run the studio, acting as the point of contact for students and staff when the Studio Manager is not present, up to 20hours per week.
  • Maintain an appropriate level of studio supply inventory so that all provisions and amenities are available for students at all times (cleanliness inventory, locker room amenities, towels, programming materials, etc.).
  • Engage and know your studio community consistently; greet students by name, serve as an ambassador of yoga both inside and outside of the studio, and spend quality time at the front desk fostering community.
  • Support our teachers’ learning experience of working the POS and other pre/post‑class duties.
Coordinate and Execute Health, Safety and Cleanliness Protocol in the Studio
  • Ensure the physical studio space meets the high CPY standards of cleanliness and functionality, including a safe environment, optimum heat and humidity, inspiring music, and a clean and clutter‑free surroundings in all areas.
  • Communicate Smart Health Protocol to students upon entry and throughout their visit at CPY.
  • Act as an extension of the Studio Experience Team (SET), including cleaning the studio, stocking amenities, and ensuring the CPY cleanliness protocol is always followed while on duty.
  • Support the SET team by interviewing SET applicants, hiring SET employees, scheduling SET employees’ shifts, stepping in for no‑call/no‑shows, training, and disciplining/terminating SET employees who have violated CPY's policies and standards.
  • Lead orientation for new Studio Experience Team members and train them on cleanliness protocol and role expectations.
Coordinate Studio Systems
  • Act as a liaison between the Studio Manager and the teaching and SET teams in training, communicating, and coordinating studio operational systems, including but not limited to:
    • Point of Sales System (POS) – navigate efficiently to sign students in, sell packages and memberships, and resolve student‑account issues.
    • Online Reservation System – support administrative follow‑up of late‑cancel fees, waitlist, student support, etc.
    • Subbing Application – support training and usage for teaching team.
    • HRIS Application – support training and usage for teaching and SET team.
    • Help Desk – submit facilities tickets when on duty and communicate follow‑up needs to Studio Manager.
Teaching Schedule

Support the studio class schedule by teaching a minimum of 6classes per week of branded CorePower Yoga classes and support the studio through subbing additional classes as needed.

Skills & Experience
  • Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Value: Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in Customer Service required.
  • Completion of a Yoga Alliance certified 200‑hour program is preferred.
  • Yoga Sculpt teacher training is preferred.
  • Familiar and comfortable with studio systems such as the HRIS, intranet, point‑of‑sale systems, company scheduling and payroll systems, etc.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles at different levels of seniority.
  • Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Proven self‑starter with ability to take on new projects with enthusiasm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Excellent time‑management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
  • College (BA/BS) preferred.
The Fine Print
  • Availability must match the needs of the business and leadership zig‑zag schedules – morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability and flexibility required.
  • Must be able to move around the studio space, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25lbs.
  • If certified to teach, must be able to step in to teach class with little to no notice while scheduled in the studio.

$21.25 per hour
