Job summary

Mercury Radio Arts, Inc. is seeking a Production Assistant to join our Las Colinas studio team. You will support live TV and radio production, operate audio systems, coordinate with directors and producers, and help manage content across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years as a production assistant, experience with Audition, Pro Tools, and Premiere Pro, plus familiarity with social media channels. This is an on-site role requiring flexibility for mornings and some holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as a production assistant.
• Experience using audio editing programs like Adobe Audition and Pro Tools.
• Experience using video editing programs like Premiere Pro.
• Social media experience including X, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Strong communication, organizational skills, adaptability, time management and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work early mornings and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operating audio consoles, mixing for on-air talent and sound effects.
• Setting up, testing, and maintaining microphones, studio consoles, recording software, and transmission equipment.
• Collaborating with the TV director, producers and talent to execute the show's structure, sound bites, and commercial insertion.
• Technically directing the flow of the program and managing the studio's audio setup.
• Editing and uploading podcasts, commercials (audio and visual) and other content and verifying all video & audio clips.
• Running teleprompter, line producing, creating guest banners for TV.
• Creatively writing show titles and descriptions.
• Call screening.
• Active on social media for show research.
