Affiliate faculty are hired per credit hour and are not eligible for benefits. All teaching assignments are on a per‑credit‑hour basis, with classes taught in person on campus and online as required.
The Department of Art at Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for part‑time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Studio Art, two‑dimensional media. The successful candidate will teach studio foundations, drawing, painting, printmaking or other media as assigned.
Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired to teach on a per‑credit‑hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester‑by‑semester basis. They are not eligible for benefits under the university’s benefit program. All teaching assignments are dependent on budget and enrollment and the candidate will be expected to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
The rate of pay per credit‑hour assignment is between $1,264 and $1,482, based on university policy.
