The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing. Job Description: Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible Instructor positions for delivering in-person courses at the Athens Campus for our undergraduate and/or graduate programs in the following studio art Areas: Ceramics, Digital Art + Technology, Painting + Drawing, Printmaking, Photography + Integrated Media, and Sculpture + Expanded Practice during the 2026/2027 academic year.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Art and Design (or related field) by the start date of appointment, or the equivalence of through a combination of education and experience in accordance with Ohio University policy 18.001.
Preferred Qualifications
- The ability to develop, and/or update, course curriculum and curriculum delivery materials/modes
- Experience with Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design
- Experience with Learning Management Software/Platforms
- Public dissemination / exhibition of professional work
