Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program required, student in 2nd year and able to function under limited supervision.
• Eligible to take ARRT registry or enrolled in ARRT accredited program; must obtain ARRT RT(R) within 12 months of hire.
• WA State license as X-Ray Technician (XT) required.
• Hospital practicum experience from accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality radiographic images in multiple settings.
• Assist physicians during procedures including fluoroscopy.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Follow ALARA radiation protection standards and document equipment issues.
• Maintain credential records and on-site systems knowledge.
• Transport patients and equipment safely; participate in on-call duties.
