You will interview people across campus and craft news, research, and feature pieces for Auburn’s website and print/digital publications, contributing to stories about groundbreaking research, academics, student life, and Auburn traditions.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Major in journalism, communications, public relations, English, marketing or related.

Responsibilities

• Interview people from across campus
• Write news, research and feature stories for Auburn’s website, and print and digital publications
• Help tell stories about groundbreaking research, academics, the student experience and Auburn traditions
• Attend and write about events happening around campus
• Work with photographers, designers and communicators to bring stories to life
• Pitch your own ideas
• Learn what it’s like to work in a communications and marketing office
