Job summary

Ameren Services Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Facilities Planning support role to assist with space planning, FF&E selection, and project documentation.

You will work with the Facilities team to learn how to develop project concepts, review floor plans for compliance, maintain IWMS data, and participate in space audits. This full-time role offers hands-on learning and exposure to corporate real estate processes, with salary range $21.00–$30.00 per hour, commensurate with skills.

Responsibilities

• Support space moves, additions, and changes across Ameren facilities.
• Assist FF&E selections for interior renovation and new construction.
• Collaborate to develop design concepts and project documentation.
• Learn regulatory requirements by reviewing floor plans.
• Support space planning documents and occupancy data.
• Maintain IWMS data for FF&E work requests.
• Participate in routine space audits and asset records.
• Assist in maintaining FF&E standards and space usage.
• Partner with Facilities on special projects for growth.
• Contribute to cost estimating and budgeting activities.
• Support team with overall duties as assigned.

• Support workplace moves, additions, and changes across multiple Ameren facilities while gaining exposure to facility planning and space management processes.
• Assist the team with interior renovation and new construction projects by participating in furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E) selection, reviewing product options, and learning how purchasing recommendations are developed.
• Collaborate with project teams to help develop design concepts, prepare project documentation, understand client requirements, and contribute to project cost estimating and budgeting activities.
• Learn about facility planning standards and regulatory requirements by assisting with the review of floor plans to help identify compliance considerations.
• Support the development of facility programming documents and block plans while building an understanding of space planning methodologies.
• Assist in maintaining and updating facility occupancy and space planning information under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Utilize the Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) to support FF&E work request tracking and help maintain space and occupancy data.
• Participate in routine space audits to learn inventory management practices and assist with maintaining records related to furniture, signage, graphics, storage equipment, and overall asset conditions.
• Support the development and maintenance of FF&E standards while gaining insight into workplace design and operational best practices.
• Partner with Facilities team members on special projects and other assignments that provide opportunities for professional growth and hands‑on learning.
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the salary offered.

$21.00 - $30.00
