This position assists in providing database-related support and guidance to internal and external departments.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in database loading practices and applications


• Monitor department email inbox to ensure timely responses


• Maintain a positive attitude and high accuracy level in a fast-paced environment


• Perform audits of daily database loading items


• Assistance with various analytical and administrative tasks


• Submit backdate/rerate requests when necessary to correct pricing application on freight bills


• Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals


• Assist with loading customer, rating, or special notes


• Ensure accurate customer pricing is loaded into the rating system database


• Other duties and projects, as assigned


• Assist with weekly fuel surcharge updates for modified fuel applications


• Assist with pricing auto-loads


• Assist with logging and tracking goal measures


• Prepare publication documents and distribute for loading

Requirements

Education

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business or related field, required

Experience

• No prior experience necessary

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent Excel, spreadsheet, and reporting skills

Work Hours

• This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Compensation
