University of Georgia in Athens is seeking a Student Worker-Medical Equipment Assistant to support inventory, surplus processing, and equipment shipping in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. You will assist the Equipment Manager with organizing equipment, help on-site vendors for maintenance, and perform data entry and logging tasks.

  • Assist with inventory control and preparing old equipment for surplus. This shall entail proper disinfection of old equipment, and recording of requested information to process items for surplus.
  • Work within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital to help ensure broken equipment makes its way to the Equipment Office for processing.
  • Process and log equipment to send for repair. Package equipment for shipping or pick up.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Experience in working with technology, repairs, and set‑up of equipment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies - Exceptional computer skills.

- Travel to interoffice departments to communicate or deliver materials.
