Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Student Worker - Functional to clean and maintain assigned areas, ensuring safety and client satisfaction. This role requires following established procedures, handling cleaning equipment, and adhering to OSHA and company standards.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow safety protocols, and work in a fast-paced environment. Prior custodial experience is preferred, and uniforms or PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment per OSHA and Aramark regs.
• Maintains a clean, orderly environment to ensure safety and health.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment and assigns areas per standards.
• Stores and disposes of trash properly and transports to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensures facility security and controls access as required.
• Protects company assets.

The Student Worker - Functional cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
