Job Description

Title: Student Worker - Extended Learning Student Leaders - Intramurals (SSY26-27)

Location: School Site- for specific programming

Intramurals:

Intramurals are opportunities for students to participate in athletics that are separate from district athletics, aimed for Middle School students to gain exposure to the athletic teams and sport experience.

Days/Times:

Arrive on time to scheduled shifts; Monday to Friday (2 days per week) from 2:45pm-5pm (up to 5 hours a week)

Compensation: $16.25/hour (student worker rate)

General Duties:

• Intramural Student Workers will support coaches and assistant coaches with the facilitation and management of the athletic environment, ultimately learning the routines and structures to support this type of programming for students.
• Be prepared to engage with students and be present during the activities
• Assist teacher leaders in preparing and supporting the work
• Upholds the standard student worker expectations in their respective environments
• Take part in the planning alongside teachers
• Fully participate in program activities and serve as a role model and leader.
• Provides administrative support in regards to record keeping or data collection that is in support of the program

Note: These are minimum requirements for Student Workers; staff may expand upon any of these duties as they see fit, but must meet these daily requirements.
