Student Worker – Campus Store

Join our Campus Store team and play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while gaining hands‑on retail experience. As a Campus Store Student Worker, you’ll assist with daily store operations, helping students, faculty, and staff find the materials and merchandise they need.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Accurately operate the point‑of‑sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and work area.
• Support inventory tasks by receiving shipments, unpacking products, and restocking items.
• Arrange and replenish merchandise on shelves to keep the store presentable.
• Assist in creating and organizing promotional displays and signage throughout the store.
• Address customer inquiries related to merchandise, pricing, and store policies.
• Maintain current knowledge of all University rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Participate in opening and closing duties to ensure proper store setup and shutdown.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to contribute to the smooth operation of the store.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be enrolled at least half‑time as an undergraduate or graduate student during the academic year.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.25 and have successfully completed 9 credits or more in the most recent fall or spring semester with a GPA of 2.0 or better.

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position will be discussed with the hiring manager, depending upon the student’s class schedule.

Starting Salary

$14.25 hourly.
