Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Student Worker at Assumption University in Worcester, MA. The role involves assisting with cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction.

This position offers an hourly wage and opportunities to develop workplace skills while supporting campus operations. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, keeping spaces clean, operating housekeeping equipment, and reporting maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.00 to $17.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
