Qualifications

• Must be a current Spoon River College student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours in fall and spring and three in summer.
• Federal work‑study eligible for work‑study positions.
• Must be able to follow directions accurately and work independently with little supervision.
• Must be dependable with high attendance.
• Clerical positions require Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Must possess excellent client service skills.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Satisfactory pre‑employment background check required.
• Tutors must have completed classes to be tutored with a 3.0 GPA or better or be enrolled with instructor recommendation.
• Tutors must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better.

Responsibilities

• Perform varied duties in the department such as clerical work, food service, grounds maintenance, lab assistance, or tutoring.
• Assist with events and setup as needed.
• Provide good client service and maintain professional conduct.
• Work evenings or weekends depending on position.
• Follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
