Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree from an accredited school/college.
• Preferred qualifications include Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing.
• Current certification as Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by an approved certifying body.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary health care to patients in collaboration with consulting physician and multidisciplinary health team.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and develop patient care plans within clinical nursing practice and medical care protocols.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, initiate changes in care based on outcomes, and coordinate with other health professionals for patient care.
