Northern Kentucky University seeks an AV Technician Level I to support audio, video, and streaming systems in the Student Union. This entry-level position offers training and advancement opportunities. Evening and weekend hours required.

Job Description
The Student Union AV Technician Level I is an entry level position designed to introduce interested students to live audio, video, and networked streaming systems. You will provide support for our facility’s guest users and other production staff. Upon successful training, advancement opportunities exist to level II Production and III Lead technicians.
Primary Responsibilities
This position provides sound, lighting, and video services for various productions and events in the Student Union/University Center. Other duties include providing technical support to guest users of the facilities. The technician is also called upon to troubleshoot and correct hardware, software, and network issues. Evening and weekend hours are required. This position reports to the Lead Technology Support Specialist.
Qualifications
This is an entry level position, previous experience with sound, video, lighting, networking, or PC repair not required, but are a plus. On the job training will be provided.
