Job summary

Mission Hospital McDowell, part of Mission Health and HCA Healthcare, is seeking a motivated Student Ultrasound Technologist to join the Radiology team in Marion, North Carolina. You will support clinicians, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to patient care under supervision.

The role offers exposure to diagnostic imaging, learning opportunities, and collaboration with technologists while following safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be entering second year of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiography.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be in second year of Radiography School.

Responsibilities

• Support Ultrasound Department staff to ensure workflow
• Assist with patient comfort, information, and ensuring a welcoming environment
• Learn directly from experienced radiology technologists
• Perform regulatory and documentation tasks under supervision
• Work under the guidance of a registered technologist
