The incumbent will assist students across academic subjects, foster growth, maintain confidentiality, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to university policies and expectations of punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• This is a student employee role performing functions related to academic support as needed.
• Roles may include career coaching, tutoring, or supplemental instruction for students.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all pertinent information is required.
• Providing excellent customer service to constituents and maintaining punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in a designated academic subject or discipline as needed.
• Foster educational growth and development; identify educational needs and provide assistance as necessary.
• Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information.
• Provide information and excellent customer service to constituents.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Ability to comply with University policies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• May assist with researching and developing educational or training material(s).
• May assist with identifying educational and training needs and provide recommendations.
• May coordinate educational or training sessions, webinars, workshops.
• May assist with recommending and developing departmental processes and procedures.
• May serve as a source to answer questions, provide information and resolve concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners.
• May lead or present training or other educational topics.
• May create creative content for educational or training materials.
• May partner or work with department leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
• Ability to comply with University policies.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
