MEMSPA in Michigan is seeking a Bus Attendant to provide safety and support on transportation routes, assisting students with wheelchairs, monitoring behavior, and substituting for the bus driver when needed. You will help ensure safe, on-time transportation, assist with first aid, and maintain a clean, disinfected vehicle.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have no more than 6 points on driving record.
• Must be able to obtain CDL Class B with C, P and S endorsements and pass air brakes test.
• Must have good driving record throughout employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students with special needs including wheelchairs and positioning on/off the vehicle.
• Manage student behavior and monitor conduct.
• Communicate with students, parents, and employees appropriately.
• Clean and disinfect vehicle; perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Substitute for bus driver including pre-/post-trip inspections and route planning.
• Administer first aid.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
