You will operate a school bus on designated routes under the Director of Transportation, perform daily bus inspections, maintain order, and report incidents per district policies. This 12-month, nonexempt role requires punctuality, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes in accordance with time schedules, loading and unloading students
• Transports students, teachers and others on field or activity trips
• Inspects bus daily to ensure safe operating order
• Maintains order and discipline among students
• Maintains and submits route timing records for efficiency
• In emergencies, evacuates children and follows procedures per policy
