Job summary

Adams County School District 14 is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and on extra trips. You will ensure student safety, monitor health concerns, and perform pre/post-trip inspections. Training is provided for applicable duties, and a CDL B with P2S endorsement is required.

The role is non-exempt with 185 school days, reporting to the Transportation Supervisor within District Transportation. Prior transportation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with P2S endorsement, DOT medical card, First Aid and CPR required.
• Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to and from destination in a safe manner.
• Oversee well being of students and monitor health care issues.
• Load/unload passengers and secure seats and wheelchairs as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and respond to emergencies.
