Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver by monitoring student behavior and upholding rules.
• Exercise sound judgment and maintain good public relations with parents, students, and staff.
• Arrive at bus barn 15 minutes before scheduled departure time.
• Learn the route and assist substitute drivers with directions and route information.
• Monitor safety supplies in and on all special education vehicles (Emergency Checklist, First Aid).
• Assist with loading and unloading of passengers.
• Greet students and parents with courtesy and politeness.
• Dress appropriately for the job.
• Work in partnership with the driver.
