Jerome Joint School District 261 Transportation Building - Jerome, Idaho is seeking a part-time Bus Attendant to assist in safe student transportation, including students with disabilities, under the Transportation Director. Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with supervisor, co-workers, students, parents, building staff, and district staff.
• Refer all parent concerns to supervisor.
• Alert the Supervisor to special needs of individual students.
• Provide escort and assistance to children as necessary.
• Encourage age-appropriate social interaction among students.
• Support students who are participating in community environments, job training experiences, and other activities as directed by the teacher/provider.
• Be familiar with building procedures when performing duties with a work ethic that is committed to safety.
• Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Assist with maintaining discipline when students are on bus.
• Report undisciplined students to the bus driver and supervisor.
• Follow and enforce adopted Board and State Education policies, procedures, and regulations.
