Job summary

Sylvania in Weld RE-5J School District seeks a Non-CDL Driver for a full-time role. You will transport students to and from schools, follow district policies, and support field trips, sometimes covering routes over 50 miles one-way.

The position includes benefits, medical, life and dental insurance, two fully paid medical plans, PERA contributions and paid time off. Driver requirements include a Colorado license, First Aid/CPR, and a clean background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience driving students preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive routes that do not require a CDL
• Maintain and promote professional defensive driving attitude
• Daily pre and post trip inspections
• Maintain proper student discipline per Board policy
• Maintain appropriate communication with supervisor, school and parents regarding student behavior
• Attend work and arrive in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned
