Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to fluently read and write English.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and qualify for company sponsored vehicle insurance.
• Must have or immediately seek CDL/ Passenger bus endorsement.
• Six months work-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport students by bus and automobile to vocational sites, medical centers, recreational activities, courts, etc.
• Transport equipment/commodities to the center and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles and report mechanical issues to Lead Driver/Dispatcher or Facilities Manager.
• May supervise students during activities and ensure safety.
• Perform duties of maintenance worker or custodian as needed (grounds, snow removal, etc.).
• Attend required staff training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
