Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking an executive to expand our transportation services for students and to lead operations supporting government and commercial contracts. The role focuses on timely vehicle scheduling, maintenance, safety compliance, and dependable service delivery.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, CDL with passenger endorsement, and experience working with youth. Travel of approximately 20–30% may be required; a single contributor role with no direct reports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.
• Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.
• May be assigned to assist in other departments as required.
• Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Conducts vehicle inspections and reports safety issues and concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains the care, cleanliness, and upkeep of the Center’s vehicles.
• Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.
• Ensures that only authorized students are transported on and off Center.
• Keeps accurate log of students transported off of and returned to Center.
• Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills.
• Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property.
• Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Fosters and sustains a conducive environment at the center, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect, thereby ensuring a safe space for both staff and students to engage in work and learning.
• Attends all required staff training opportunities.
