Job summary

University of Kentucky seeks qualified students for afternoon work in infant toddler or preschool classrooms off campus in Lexington, KY. You must be a current UK student to apply. The role is part-time, about 20 hours per week, with duties in 6 weeks through 5-year-old classrooms and daily cleaning.

You'll assist with snacks, transitions, and communication with parents; CPR/First Aid and KY Orientation are preferred, as well as training in Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Must enjoy working around children aged 6 weeks through 5 years. Must be willing to follow a schedule, help with snacks, potty training or diaper changing, transitioning to outside play, speaking with parents, and cleaning the classroom at the end of the day. Must have a negative TB skin test and provide documentation of completing of high school or current unofficial college transcript.
